I graduated with my BFA in Acting/Directing from Central Michigan University in May of 2024. While attending, I was trained in Stanislavski, Shakespeare, Chekov, Moliere, Stage intimacy, Stage combat, and 12 Guideposts. Along with taking directing, technical, dance, and improv classes. In August of 2024 I moved to Chicago and since then I have taken acting classes at Midsummer Flight and Acting Studio Chicago, along with completing the improv program at IO Theater, as well as interning there.

Most of my experience is in stage acting, and while I plan on keep doing that and am still extremely passionate about, I am also very interested in getting into screen acting. I find screen acting so interesting because the audience is usually getting a close up shot of what emotions the characters are going through. As an actor, that gives me an opportunity to find all of the minute details that can be shown through my face, body, and words.

Another part of acting I am very drawn to is intimacy within scenes and how it can add to the relationships being shown. I think any type of intimacy, whether thats an embrace, kiss, sex, etc. can add so much to a story if done correctly. I love having an opportunity as an actor to work with my scene partner and intimacy coordinator to show the subtext within the intimacy.
